the house is still. but for the ticking of my fingers on the computer keys. its so nice. to hear my own noises... my music. my heartbeat. my ticking fingers... my own thoughts having a chance to be realized. so peaceful. my eye lids are heavy. i didnt get much sleep last night. my feet are cold, in spite of my argyle socks. i'm not sure thats how you spell that word.. but i'm too lazy to find out... i'm happy in these peaceful moments. where my body rests but my mind is engaged. the moments before someone barges in here with a question or complaint. a chore for me to do. a blaring television. anything that requires my attention... inhale...

so i'm sittin.... on BOTH sides of my ass today.... its a glorious moment, basking in the afterglow of this afternoons chiropractic adjustment. all my muscles were really tight he said.
